Sara Dura

Position: Commercial Real Estate Advisor

Sara Dura is a Commercial Real Estate Advisor at ONE Street Commercial Properties, specializing in investment sales across multifamily, office (conversions), industrial, land development site transactions, NNN Retail, and other asset classes across the DC Metro region (DC, MD, VA).

Business development sits at the center of Sara’s practice. Drawing on an extensive off-market network, she connects investors, owners, developers, and capital partners, building strategic partnerships and making the introductions that move opportunities from concept to close.

Sara represents clients who buy, sell, and invest across the full transaction lifecycle, covering acquisitions and divestments of existing multifamily, office, industrial, and NNN Retail properties as well as land and development site transactions, with many of her largest assignments originating through her network. Within ONE Street’s development and capital raising verticals, she positions large land for ground-up multifamily, data center, and mixed-use projects, works alongside her partner to advance sites through entitlements into saleable lots for builders, connects capital partners into the firm’s raises, and advises owners on office-to-residential conversions and other adaptive reuse.

Before joining ONE Street, Sara built her investment sales career in the Industrial Division at Marcus & Millichap. She previously founded and led Studio 1527 for two decades, a photography company serving weddings and events, university panels, healthcare conferences, and portraits for national brands, celebrity clients, and high-net-worth families – building the expansive network and sphere of influence she draws on today as a native Washingtonian with deep roots across the DMV.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, College Park, with minors in communications and marketing from Brigham Young University. She is pursuing a Master’s degree in Real Estate with a Finance concentration at Georgetown University, expected Spring 2029.

Sara serves on the board of the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital NICU Patient & Family Advisory Council and the Johns Hopkins Community Physicians Pediatric Rockville Advisory Board. A competitive triathlete and cyclist, she applies the same discipline to her career. Sara resides in Chevy Chase with her husband and four children, and enjoys cycling, golf, photography, and live music.
